Welcome! I’m Cheryl: writer, storyteller, and communications consultant.
My essays, reviews, and short fiction have been published in Vita Poetica, Oyster River Pages, The Bluebird Word, The Ekphrastic Review, After the Art, and other publications. Primarily, I write about art, books, landscape, and nature. I also advocate for Liberal Arts and Humanities education. My work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and for Best Small Fictions. You can follow my writing, reflections, and imagery on Instagram @cherylsadowski.
I also help organizations and individuals to articulate their vision and value, increase awareness, and create engagement through branding, communications, digital and print storytelling strategies. For consulting services and related inquiries, please reach me here via my Contact page, or on LinkedIn.
I hold a Master of Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An avid reader, I enjoy cultural and natural history, biography, gothic fiction, and epistolary writing. I live in Virginia with my husband and two precocious cats.
